Alcon: Revenue Forecasting
Overview
Working with the Alcon data science team, we built a forecasting platform that replaced shared Excel workbooks requiring 30–60 minutes per change with a real-time web application. Alcon, the global leader in eye care, serving patients in more than 140 countries, needed its internal sales teams to move fast. We delivered a role-scoped system where staff access only their data, update estimated sales, log notes, and generate revenue projections on demand.

Forecasting Engine
From spreadsheet bottleneck to real-time data.
We worked alongside the Alcon data science team to build a structured database of products, sales history, revenue models, and market data. Internal staff log in to a role-scoped view of their own data, update estimated sales figures, attach notes explaining each change, and generate forecasts up to five years out, all grounded in actual historical performance and forward-looking market estimates. What once meant waiting an hour for a shared Excel file to recalculate now happens in seconds.
Interactive Reports
Revenue projections, visualized.
Forecast output is surfaced through an interactive charting layer built with shadcn/ui charts. Teams can explore multi-year projection curves, compare revenue model scenarios, and review market-adjusted estimates in a clean, purpose-built interface that turns dense model output into clear visuals that support real business decisions.
