Overview
Select Interactive, LLC ("Select Interactive," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website and related web applications. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit www.select-interactive.com (the "Site") or use features such as our contact forms, Project Blueprint tool, or the Ask assistant. By using the Site, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process the categories below. We collect only what we need to operate the Site, respond to inquiries, deliver services, run analytics, protect against abuse, and comply with law.
- Contact and Project Blueprint intake. When you submit our multi-step contact form or Project Blueprint questionnaire, we collect the fields you provide (for example name, email, phone, company, project details, budget band, timelines, and similar details). We use this information to evaluate fit and respond to you.
- Ask assistant. When you use Ask, your messages are sent to our servers so we can generate a reply. We may log limited operational data associated with Ask usage (for example timing and coarse technical metadata) to improve reliability and enforce rate limits.
- Analytics. On production deployments we load Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate Site usage (for example pages viewed, navigation paths, and general technical context such as device category).
- Diagnostics and engineering dashboards. We operate internal tools on separate URLs that require authentication and are not intended for the general public. Those tools may display operational statistics derived from our infrastructure or stored records.
- Server and security logs. Like most websites, our hosting environment creates standard logs that may include IP addresses, HTTP headers, timestamps, request paths, and status codes for troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and security monitoring.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Respond to inquiries submitted through contact forms or Project Blueprint;
- Deliver email notifications related to your requests using our email provider;
- Operate and improve Ask, including abuse prevention (such as rate limits);
- Understand aggregate Site usage through analytics;
- Maintain security, detect fraud and misuse, and meet legal obligations;
- Store operational records where appropriate (for example intake submissions) so our team can follow up with you.
Service providers and subprocessors
We rely on trusted vendors to host and operate parts of our stack. Depending on the feature you use, data may be processed by providers such as:
- Google Analytics for Site analytics (subject to Google's policies);
- SendGrid (or similar transactional email infrastructure) for delivering messages related to contact submissions and Project Blueprint;
- Google Cloud / Firebase for authentication, databases, caching, or operational jobs tied to Ask rate limiting and internal tooling, consistent with Firebase privacy documentation;
- xAI (via our Ask backend integration) as the model provider that generates Ask responses when Ask is enabled and configured.
These providers process information under contractual safeguards appropriate to their roles. They may only use personal information as instructed by our agreements with them or as otherwise permitted by law.
Cookies, storage, and similar technologies
We may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics (such as GA4), operational reliability, or preference storage. For example, our Site supports a light/dark theme preference that may be stored in your browser's local storage so your choice persists across visits.
Internal-only authenticated dashboards may use HTTP-only cookies or similar session mechanisms so authorized staff can access reporting tools. Visitors who never access those URLs do not receive those internal session cookies.
Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. Operational logs and analytics may be retained on rolling schedules typical for SaaS hosting environments. Specific retention periods may vary depending on whether information appears in operational databases, backups, analytics consoles, or security tooling.
Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No web transmission or storage is perfectly secure; use of the Site is at your own risk beyond what reasonable safeguards can address.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information, or to opt out of certain analytics where applicable. Because our Site is operated from the United States, visitors outside the United States should understand their information may be processed in the United States.
You can control cookies through browser settings, install analytics opt-out tools offered by analytics vendors where available, or stop submitting forms if you prefer not to share personal details with us yet.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated policy on this page. Continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
