National College Football Awards Association

Overview

The National College Football Awards Association recognizes the sport's top performers across more than a dozen prestigious awards. To support the full award cycle, they needed a platform that could serve fans and media with authoritative content, give Sports Information Directors at all 138 FBS programs a structured way to submit nominations, and give award committees the tools to evaluate candidates, organize voting, and publish results.

The Challenge

Design and build a multi-role platform serving three distinct audiences: a public-facing awards destination powered by a purpose-built CMS, a secure nomination portal for SIDs at every FBS school, and an internal committee environment for reviewing submissions, organizing voting rounds, and managing results, all within one cohesive system.

We built a purpose-made CMS that gives the NCFAA team full control over every stage of each award cycle. Staff manage annual watch lists, semifinalist and finalist announcements, and rich winner profiles, all within a structured publishing workflow that keeps every page consistent, accurate, and current across more than a dozen awards.

SID Nomination Portal

One portal for all 138 FBS programs.

Sports Information Directors at every FBS school have a dedicated login where they can submit player nominations with full supporting detail: on-field performance, off-field character, academic accomplishments, and any additional documentation the committee needs to evaluate a candidate. The structured format keeps submissions consistent and committee-ready from day one.

Committee Review

Every nomination, organized and ready to evaluate.

Award committee members access a dedicated review environment where all SID submissions are collected, organized, and searchable. Committees can review player profiles, conduct voting rounds, and manage results through the full award cycle without ever leaving the platform.
